The Chile coat of arms was designed by Charles Wood Taylor. It was created in 1934. It features a shield supported by a huemel (a rare type of deer) and a condor. The shield is divided into a top blue part and a bottom red part. A five pointed-white star is located in the middle of the Chile coat of arms. Two previous versions existed.
