A red diagonal stripes run from the upper right corner to the bottom left corner. It is outlined in yellow. A yellow star is located in the upper left corner.
The Congo flag has a meaning. The yellow stands for wealth, red is for the blood of martyrs, and the star stands for the bright future. Previous versions had the star still, but were a darker blue, and didn’t contain the diagonal bar.
