The Czech Republic coat of arms is a shield divided into four sections. Three different historical regions are represented. They are now contained by the nation.
The Czech Republic Coat of Arms has the arms of Bohemia, which is a lion with two tails on a red background. The red and white chequered eagle is located in the upper right corner on a blue background, and represents Morovia. A black eagle with a clover stalk on its chest stands for Silesia.
The design is used by the both the national hockey team and national football team. A smaller version of the Czech Republic coat of arms exists. It just features the arms of Bohemia.
