The Isle of Man coat of arms was adopted on July 12th, 1996. It is officially known as the The Arms of Her Majesty in right of the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man coat of arms features a triskelion on a red shield. A triskelion is a symbol of three bent human legs. This is an ancient symbol. The shield is supported by two birds: a raven and a falcon. It features the motto Quocunque Jeceris Stabit, which means “Wherever you throw it, it will stand”.
