The Jordan coat of arms was designed in 1921. It was adopted on August 25, 1934. It features a crown and sash, which represent the monarchy and Hashemite dynasty.
In the middle of the Jordan coat of arms, an eagle (a symbol of power) is perched on a globe. Two flags of the Arab revolt are located on each side.
The Jordan coat of arms also features a medal of the order of al-Nahda at the bottom.
