The Monaco Coat of Arms
The Monaco coat of arms features two monks wielding a sword holding the center shield. This tells of the fact that the city was conquered in 1297 when soldiers entered the city dressed as monks. The shield features red and white alternating diamonds.
It features a latin motto meaning “With God's help”. The Monaco coat of arms are known as The Royal Arms of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II.
