The Namibian coat of arms features a shield in the middle supported by two antelope. These represent courage, pride, and elegance. The shield features the national flag. The Welwitschia mirabilis, a type of desert plant is located below. Above the shield, a red, white, and blue African Fish Eagle is depicted. At the very bottom of the Namibian coat of arms, a ribbon with the national motto of “Unity, Liberty, Justice” is placed.
