The Pakistan Coat of Arms
The Pakistan emblem is green and white and was adopted in 1954. The symbols of Islam, which are a star and crescent, are located at the top. A floral wreath surrounds a centered shield. The wreath symbolizes the Mughal heritage of the people. The shield is divided into four parts, each of which depicts a crop. The crops are tea, cotton, wheat, and jute. The Pakistan emblem or coat of arms also contains the motto “Faith, Unity, Discipline” written out in Urdu at the bottom.
