The Panama Coat of Arms
The Panama coat of arms depicts a shield that is draped by the national flag. The shield depicts the Isthmus of Panama and was adopted in 1904. A gun and sword are featured hung, which symbolizes the end to civil war. A hoe and shovel are also featured, which represent hard work. An eagle is featured on top of the Panama coat of arms.
To symbolize progression, a winged wheel is depicted at the bottom. A cornucopia is also depicted at the bottom of the Panama coat of arms, which stands for wealth. Nine stars are located at the top, which represent the provinces of the country.
