The St. Lucia coat of arms features two parrots holding a shield. It features Fleur de lis to represent France, a tudor rose to represent England, and a stool to represent Africa. It also features a torch to help light the nation’s path. The St. Lucia coat of arms was adopted in 1967 and was created by Sydney Bagshaw.
