The Swaziland coat of arms features a shield supported by a lion and an elephant. The lion is symbolic of the King, and the elephant represents the Queen. They hold a Nguni shield, which is a symbol of protection. Feathers are located on the top that are worn by the King during a festival called Ncwala. At the bottom of the Swaziland coat of arms, the word Siyinqabais printed, which means “We are the fortress”.
