The Swaziland flag was adopted on October 6, 1968. It is one of the most detailed national flags in the world. A dark horizontal bars runs through the center. It is bordered by two thin yellows bars. Two blue bars make up the edges. Two spears and a shield are depicted in the middle.

The Swaziland flag has the ratio 2:3. The design is based on a similar version that was granted in 1941 to the Swazi Pioneer Corps. The black and white color on the shield symbolizes peace between the races.
