The Sweden Coat of Arms features a shield divided in four parts. The bottom right and top left sections depict the three Royal Crowns of Sweden in yellow on a blue background. Since the reign of King Albert of Mecklenburg, these have been used as national symbols. The bottom left and top right sections feature the Lions of the Folkunga Dynasty.
The Sweden Coat of Arms also has supporters on each side of the seal. They are two golden lions who are facing away from the shield. A lesser version of the design exists.
The design is also considered to be the arms of the King. He can also proclaim the Sweden Coat of Arms to be the insignia of members of the Royal House. The design can also be used in royal orders collars.
